The CWC Basra Environmental Awards will celebrate the achievements of individuals who have implemented sustainable projects in the oil, gas, power and water sectors.

The list of nominations will be shared with the Basra and Iraq governments for their consideration.

The winner will be announced at the 2019 CWC Basra Gala Dinner on Tuesday 22nd October 2019 at 7pm.

Please ensure that you nominate as soon as possible – the deadline to receive nominations is 9th September.

Awards Criteria

Award entries will need to meet the following criteria:

Be innovative in the field of environment sustainability
Demonstrate a positive impact on the environment in line with your aim and objectives, in Iraq or globally
Demonstrate thorough evaluation processes where applicable
Provide evidence of the impact on company stakeholders
Comply with with Iraq’s environmental policies and with international agreements
